Learn how to fight against misinformation in the digital age

Join #EndJewHatred and OCT7 for a practical Zoom webinar on how you can help improve the accuracy of information about Jewish history, the Holocaust, and Israel on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia helps shape what people read online—and can influence the information surfaced by search engines and AI tools. Learning how to contribute responsibly is a concrete way to turn concern into action.

Alan Soh of OCT7 will lead an introductory workshop on editing Wikipedia, correcting inaccuracies, and adding information supported by reliable, verifiable sources. Learn how to contribute accurate, well-sourced content while working within Wikipedia’s editing standards.

You’ll learn:

How Wikipedia editing works and where to begin.
How to identify information that needs correction or additional context.
How to support edits with reliable, verifiable sources.
How to take your first steps toward becoming an informed Wikipedia contributor.
