The Vinguard is thrilled to partner again with The Ruby, a space for women, non-binary, and trans creatives in the Mission, for Wine Flair! Since 2022, we've hosted Wine Flair, tasting events with LGBTQIA+-identified natural/low-intervention winemakers. Wine Flair is not just a tasting; it's a festival where wine professionals and consumers meet, taste wine together, and celebrate the remarkable achievements of queer winemakers in an inclusive, safe, community-minded space.

Funds raised from this event will enable The Vinguard to bring Wine Flair to areas of the country where LGBTQIA+ rights are under siege in 2027. So far in 2026, we've had Wine Flairs in Orlando and Miami and are going to Austin in November. While these cities have thriving queer communities, they do not have any queer wine events.

10% of the proceeds will be donated to The National Center for Lesbian Rights, a Bay Area-based organization that has been at the forefront of fighting for queer justice for 50 years.
