RETREAT 1. UKRAINE - WINTER YOUTH PRAYER RETREAT

A few years ago, we began partnering with Valentina Kolomiets, Ministry Leader of KJMC’s Jewish Young Christian youth fellowship in Kyiv, Ukraine. They host an Annual Winter Retreat in the Carpathian Mountains of western Ukraine. You helped send over 60 kids and staff to this retreat event in February 2025!

“WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT?”

That's a GREAT QUESTION! In Ukraine, youth have suffered so much from the trauma of war. Constant shelling, rocketing, and missile attacks create life-threatening living conditions, leaving them oppressed by trauma and stress. Some have lost everything, including homes, family members, and friends. School, social interaction, and activities are crucial for healthy emotional development. All of these have been interrupted. And the sleep they need for good mental health is elusive during air raids and alarms.

Young people need to escape the war, even if only for a short period of time. They need time to be kids, rest, and reconnect.

We need your help to send 80 YOUNG PEOPLE to the annual WINTER PRAYER RETREAT in UKRAINE.

We need 80 sponsorships of $100 each so TEENS can attend this life-giving WINTER PRAYER RETREAT.

RETREAT 2. POLAND - WINTER YOUTH PRAYER RETREAT

LISA CHUPRYNA, our T3O TEAMMATE in WARSAW, POLAND, desires to host a WINTER PRAYER RETREAT in Poland’s hill country for approximately 45 youth in her care plus staff.

“WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT?”

Lisa has a DEEP DESIRE to SERVE YOUNG PEOPLE in her congregation and in her community in Warsaw. Many of the kids in her congregation are registered UKRAINIAN REFUGEES and suffer from other types of stress caused by being FORCED TO LEAVE THEIR HOMES, immigrating to a new country, and FUNCTIONING under new CUSTOMS, a new CULTURE, a new LANGUAGE, and new PRESSURES in new schools. Lisa herself is registered as a UKRAINIAN REFUGEE in POLAND.

Moreover, Lisa desires to help both UKRAINIAN and POLISH YOUTH in her care come to know the LOVE of YESHUA.

AMOUNT NEEDED FOR THIS RETREAT: $6,000

We need 60 SPONSORSHIPS of $100 EACH for 45 youth and 15 staffers to attend this inaugural WINTER PRAYER RETREAT in POLAND.
