Local news needs your support

Like many media outlets, WisCommunity is working hard to bring you the latest news and information about the coronavirus pandemic. We bring the news to you for free, but it is not free to produce. We are working to hire more staff to be able to continue to bring you the regular community news you have trusted us for in the past, while also bringing you the news about COVID-19 in the community. To help us do that, we are asking for your help.

Many of you are members at WisCommunity, or have donated to us in the past to keep us going. We are eternally grateful for your support. But now we are asking the community to consider making tax-deductible donations earmarked for our coverage of the ongoing health crisis. If you believe it is important to have a locally-owned free source of news in the Chippewa Valley, please donate to help to keep us on the job. Contributions to this fund will help us to pay for coverage of the spread of COVID-19 in the Chippewa Valley, the impact of the virus on the community, and where you can find resources to help you survive the pandemic.

Thank you for your support of WisCommunity during this very trying time.
