Peanut is fighting for her life. Please help us find the answers she desperately needs.

Peanut is a tiny little girl with an enormous will to live.

She recently became seriously ill and had to be hospitalized at UC Davis Veterinary Hospital. The doctors performed extensive testing because Peanut's liver is seriously compromised, but despite everything that was done during her hospital stay, the results were inconclusive.

We still don't know what is wrong with Peanut.

What makes this so heartbreaking is that Peanut has not given up.

This little girl is a fighter. She eats voraciously. She has an appetite for food—and for life. She gets up every day and keeps going, even though we know from her bloodwork that something is very wrong with her liver.

Peanut is telling us she wants to live. Now we need to help her.

We desperately need answers

Peanut now needs additional specialized diagnostics so her doctors can determine what is happening to her liver and, most importantly, how to treat it.

There is a possibility that the next step will include a liver biopsy and another hospital stay at UC Davis.

We are preparing for as much as $8,600 in additional diagnostic and hospital costs to finally get the answers Peanut needs and determine the proper course of treatment.

We cannot treat what we don't understand.

And we have come too far with this little girl to stop searching for answers now.
