Women Building Women is fundraising to open our first mentorship and career incubator in Atlanta, Georgia in 2022. Our incubator will provide a safe and professional environment for underserved women in our program to access curated digital content focused on career empowerment and mentorship support. The incubator will also offer live workshops, seminars and conferences, specifically developed by our network of professional women around the country, to uplift the underserved women of Atlanta.
- In two-thirds of Georgia families, women are the primary or co-breadwinners and conditions like systemic racism or gender discrimination, have contributed to their economic hardship.
- Hispanic and Black women in Georgia have experienced at least 15 percent underemployment since the pandemic.
- Women have lost a net of 5.4 million jobs during the pandemic-induced recession compared with 4.4 million lost by men.

To economically empower women from communities that are often overlooked, through career discovery with a network of women professionals and mentors to help them navigate their future with confidence and support and gain access to networks and professional learning experiences that they may never have been able to access before.
