The Haudenosaunee people have held a deep relationship with Onondaga Lake for over a thousand years. Today, we invite you to stand with us as we honor that connection through three powerful events: the Restore Our Sacred Lake 5K, the Haudenosaunee Wooden Stick Festival, and the Smoke Dance Competition.

Together, these events celebrate our culture, educate the public, and call attention to the urgent need to protect and restore Onondaga Lake—our sacred waters. We offer these programs freely to the community to ensure access for all.

To make this possible, we need your help. Your gift of $10, $100, or $1,000 will support:

Materials for traditional wooden stick lacrosse demonstrations
Travel and honoraria for Haudenosaunee dancers and artists
Healthy meals for players, vendors, and volunteers
Permits, logistics, and safety planning for the 5K and festival
