In 2025 we aired more than 100 unique radio shows each week, giving 12 new DJs their first chance behind the mic, which was no small feat, since we transitioned to becoming an all volunteer organization.

But, we didn’t stop there! We doubled down on championing the Bay Area’s incredible music scene by launching Locals ONLY, our automated playlist featuring more than 1000 tracks from 542 local bands. Then, we covered 125 more band on our blog and social media. In total, we’re on track to feature nearly 1500 unique Bay Area artists in 2025. That’s something to celebrate!

But, now that we’re in the groove, we know that we can do even more. So, we’re raising $7,500 to power an incredible year ahead for BFF.fm. With your support, we’ll keep turning up the volume on local voices in 2026!
