After losing my beloved bulldog, Winston, in 2019, and going through a deep depression, I came to the realization that I wanted to find a way to give back and help people who are grieving over the loss of their pets and created a mini-documentary called "Growing Through Grief and Turning Loss into Legacy".

I premiered the film at a local movie theatre, sold tickets and offered raffle baskets with 100% of the money raised going directly to two non-profit dog rescue groups. After raising nearly $7K in one night, I knew I was onto something and knew if I had a team with one common mission and focus, that we would be able to raised tens of thousands of dollars and help hundreds of dogs in need.

That ultimately pulled me out of my depression and Winston Project was born.

Winston Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to end the suffering of dogs who are abused, abandoned and neglected. We support dog rescue groups in San Diego who are in the field rescuing these dogs and getting them the medical care, training, behavioral help, etc. needed to get them ready for adoption and into loving homes.

In the 2 years we've been an organization, we've raised over $60K and spayed and neutered 34 dogs and cats, saved a kitten who was abandoned outside with a broken leg, funded medical treatments for dogs with cancer, raised funds to support dogs in LA who were affected by the fires and more.
