A library is more than just books. It is a community hub, a place to safely ask a "dumb question," a lifeline to needed resources, and of course, a place to house your favorite media so you don't have to! Whether you're picking up your favorite author's new release, borrowing a wi-fi hotspot, getting a free pass to a museum, accessing the internet, or attending one of our many programs, you're proving that the Whitehall Library is a cornerstone of the community.

In 2025, the Whitehall Public Library brought more than two million dollars of value to our community of approximately 15,000 residents (and 7,400 library card holders!) through materials checked out, computers used, and programs offered. This is more than a 200% return on investment, and we intend to continue that trend through 2026!

Your donations will bring direct value to the community, allowing us to:

Provide access to educational and entertaining resources
Create and facilitate programs for all ages, including guest speakers, book clubs, crafting events, and STEM nights
Continue to bring library materials to our most vulnerable community members
Ensure available access to informational resources including reference librarians and the internet
