Weird Science and Whiskey LIVE! is a casual night out built around having fun with real science, honest questions, and good conversation. Hosted quarterly by The Third Pattern in partnership with The Ohio State University College of Arts & Sciences Office of Engagement and the STEAM Factory, each segment will bring something new and strange, timely, and worth thinking about.

This is an informal interview and Q&A, not a lecture. The goal is clarity, curiosity, and FUN-- not credentials.

It’s weird. It’s science. It’s free.
Come curious. Leave a little smarter.

#BuiltForTheCurious

The Third Pattern is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created to help everyone feel more comfortable with the science in everyday life. We believe science is for all of us-- not to be kept just in ivory towers. We use low- and no-cost learning experiences in community spaces and online to spark curiosity and build confidence in understanding the world. If you like our vibe and appreciate the impact better science-comfort and critical thinking could have on our society, please consider supporting our work with a charitable donation. Thank you.
