2026 United Airlines NYC Half

My wife and I recently adopted our rescue dog, Izzy, and it changed our lives. But it also showed us the reality of animal rescue: it takes a village, and it takes resources. I’m running the United NYC Half Marathon to support that village. I’ve joined Team EOAA (East Orange Animal Alliance), a volunteer-run group that works tirelessly to support the East Orange Animal Shelter. They step in to provide what the city budget cannot, from extra medical attention to marketing that helps animals get seen and adopted. I’m running to pay it forward. I want to ensure other animals get the same second chance Izzy did. Running 13.1 miles is tough, but it’s nothing compared to the work these volunteers do every day.
