🐔 Meet Galenda: A Little Hen with a Big Will to Live ❤️

We got an urgent call about a young chicken who had been dumped in someone’s yard — scared, starving, and all alone. That chicken is Galenda. When she was found, she was barely holding on. Her leg was clearly broken, twisted the wrong way, and she can't stand or walk. She is severely malnourished, missing many of her feathers, and in pain.

A kind-hearted woman took her in, but didn’t know how else to help. That’s when we stepped in.

And let us tell you something: Galenda wants to live.

Despite everything she’s endured, Galenda is fighting. She looks at us with bright, curious eyes. She gently pecks at food, leans in when she’s spoken to, and even lets us comfort her. She’s showing us that her little heart still has hope — now we just need to match it with action.

We are working to get her to an avian specialist as soon as possible, but vet care for birds is expensive, and we simply can’t cover it all without support from compassionate people like you.
