Wine & Wonder🍷 is an event in Charlotte designed to explore the art of wine and meaningful conversations...for a worthy cause

The Cause 😍: It also is a fundraising event to help finish constructing the 2-story Middle School in Akryemade, Ghana (we have raised over $80,000 and only have $10,2500 more to go to finish the school). We are pre-celebrating Ghana's independence day (6th of March) to positively impact education in a village school outside Kumasi, Ghana (Charlotte's sister city).

What it Includes: This wine-tasting event will feature 3 wines and a sparkling wine (3+1) with a Ghanaian-inspired charcuterie board provided by Chef Awo of Eh'vivi.

How does it work: Individuals will be in small groups (Curiosity Circles) where we will provide meaningful questions to answer as you "wonder" about others. In a world full of division, let's build community through more meaningful conversations.

What does Un-Networking mean? While it may be semantics, networking can sometimes be seen as transactional and what can I get from you. Our focus is to stir meaningful conversation that leads to transformational working relationships beyond the surface of what you do and where you work as we focus more on who you are.

Be prepared to have meaningful conversations (Wonder) that exclude the two questions (1. Where do you work and 2. What do you do). Asking one of those 2 questions will result in an automatic $20 fine donated to the fundraising initiative.

Don't be afraid; you can go as deep or not as deep as you like, but we welcome you to more meaningful conversations!

Note: We will have water and non-alcoholic options for those who don't drink or can't drink.
