Invest in Their Future

Financial limitations should never stand in the way of a young person pursuing their future.

Through our Safe Haven Scholars Program the Wynter Pitts Scholarship Fund, provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Baltimore City and Baltimore County who are pursuing higher education.

Honoring the Legacy of Wynter Pitts

The scholarship honors the life and legacy of Wynter Pitts, a Baltimore native who dedicated her life to empowering young girls and their families.

Wynter was the founder of For Girls Like You Ministry, where she created resources designed to encourage girls to embrace who God created them to be. She was also a devoted wife, mother of four girls, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend.

Following her passing in 2018, the Wynter Pitts Scholarship Fund was established to continue her legacy by investing in the lives and futures of young women.

$15,000 Invested in Their Futures

Since the scholarship fund began, $15,000 in scholarships has been awarded to young women pursuing higher education.

Our most recent scholarship recipients are continuing their education at University of Maryland, Baltimore Countyand Hampton University.

And we're just getting started. Our goal is to continue growing the Wynter Pitts Scholarship Fund so that more youth have access to the financial support they need to take their next step.

You Can Be Part of Their Story

Every gift—no matter the amount—helps create greater access to higher education and reminds our youth that there is a community believing in their future.

When you give to the Wynter Pitts Scholarship Fund, you're not simply giving toward tuition.

You're investing in their education.
You're investing in their potential.
You're investing in their future.

Thank you for your generosity!
