Did you know that Julia Child donated her Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she lived from 1956 to 2001, to Smith? Proceeds from the sale of her home helped finance construction of the Campus Center, which was named in her honor.

Inspired by her generosity, the Minnesota Smith Club is hosting a fundraising dinner for the Praxis program. Roughly 400 Smith students a year receive Praxis stipends to work unpaid internships, related to their career/academic interests, during summer or interterm breaks. Over the years, our Club has funded these stipends for Minnesota-based students and students working in Minnesota.

Thanks to generous Club members, all proceeds from the dinner will go to the Praxis program.

The dinner location will be provided once you purchase a ticket. Because we want to offer all guests an opportunity to participate in the dinner preparation, we are limiting tickets to eight lucky Smith alums.
