Two new homes for local families in need are under way—each one a step toward stability, dignity, and a brighter future.
At the heart of this year’s mission is our Veterans Build on Walts Avenue — a four-home project dedicated to empowering local veterans and their families to achieve homeownership and stability. Each home represents more than bricks and lumber; it’s a testament to the courage, service, and resilience of those who have served our nation. Through this build, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners are coming together to help our heroes build affordable, decent homes and strong futures right here in West Volusia.
Your gift this Giving Tuesday fuels materials, volunteer coordination, construction supervision, and the “sweat equity” model that ensures partner-families aren’t just recipients—they are co-creators of their home.
