A Very Good Theater Company is a creative home for artists to develop and explore by making joyful, site-specific theater in unexpected places, proving that art really can happen anywhere and is for absolutely everyone.

Our team is comprised of tenacious, accomplished, whip-smart, and infinitely strange women with a passion for theater and art. Our mission is to cultivate a home for artists to develop, explore, and make joyful art in unexpected places.

After an incredibly well received run at Theaterlab in September, we are looking to expand our new adaptation of ‘The Seagull’ for early 2025 and we need your help. We are looking to raise $3,500 to further continue the development for this incredibly special play.

Our new adaptation of ‘The Seagull’ asks the question: in a sea of artists doing the same thing, what is it that makes you stand out? This production explores the brutality, destruction, and over-complication of what art should and shouldn’t be. This production features a VIP performance of ‘Konstantin’s Play’ prior to our General Admission; this gives the audience an exclusive look into a part of the show that has been omitted from the production itself.
