That’s exactly what happens at our Live Band Karaoke Battle during the 3rd Annual Gala presented by First State Bank - Michigan.

Here’s the fun part: Adam Karschner, Erika Erickson, and Roop Raj have stepped up, and you decide who takes the mic. Every dollar donated is a vote. The person who raises the most? They sing live with the band. The ones who don’t? They still help raise critical funds for our mission.

It’s playful. It’s a little nerve-wracking. And it turns laughter, cheering, and friendly competition into real support for our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Who We Are

Founded in 2018, WAVE Project, Welcoming All Valuing Everyone, is a grassroots nonprofit based in Macomb County. We started with a monthly Outreach BBQ in Mount Clemens, where volunteers and neighbors sat together and shared stories. We listened, learned about the barriers, and built the services our community needed most.

What We Do Today

Mobile Shower Service, private, ADA inclusive
Essentials Van, clothing and hygiene distribution
Macomb County Winter Shelter
Lil’ Pantries and targeted food support

Each year, we provide emergency shelter and thousands of showers, clothing items, food items, and hygiene essentials across Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties.
