That’s why we created UKF — a non-profit dedicated to building a connected community for Korean entrepreneurs and cultivating a North American startup ecosystem that reflects their voices.

What began with just nine founders has grown into a thriving network that continues to expand as more people discover the strength of community.

This October, we’re hosting KOOM Festival 2025 (October 16–18, New York) — our most ambitious event yet. With over 10,000 expected attendees, KOOM will showcase K-Pop, K-Food, K-Culture, and feature leading Korean founders and thought leaders.

미국에서는 한국 사람들이 잘 뭉치지 못한다는 아쉬움 속에서 UKF가 시작되었습니다. 처음에는 단 9명이 모였고, 그다음에는 20명, 이후 점점 더 많은 사람들이 함께 모이며 서로 돕는 문화를 만들어 갔습니다. 이제는 뉴욕에서 만여 명이 참여하는 대규모 모임을 준비하고 있으며, 이 자리에는 K-Pop, K-Food, K-Culture와 더불어 다수의 연사들과 글로벌 브랜드들이 함께할 예정입니다.

저희는 북미를 대표하는 창업 생태계를 육성하고, 한인 창업인을 위한 통합 커뮤니티를 구축하기 위해 활동하는 비영리 단체입니다. 모든 운영은 수많은 자원봉사자들의 헌신으로 이루어지고 있습니다.
