Dear South Meck parents, alumni and friends,

We are grateful for your support on Giving Tuesday. We raised nearly $5,800 for our Teacher Grant program. We are hoping to make it to $8,000 before December 31^st. Will you please consider making a donation to the South Meck Foundation this year?

With in-person learning planned for January, we want to have money ready to award teacher grants as early as possible. We would appreciate any level of support you can provide- Whether is it $21 to celebrate 2021 or $200 or more, every penny goes directly into South Meck classrooms. Our grants are typically around $500 and have funded classroom enhancements like bones kits for science class, Vex components for the Tech, Robotics and Engineering club, an amplifier for the band, classroom sets of novels, supplies for art classes, and more.

There are so many things our teachers and students need that CMS just doesn’t cover. This is where the South Meck Foundation comes in. 100% of your donation goes into the hands of our teachers. Giving Tuesday is just around the corner — December 1st — and we are asking for your support of our teachers by making a donation to the South Meck Foundation. It’s no secret that this has been a difficult year for parents and students alike but imagine being a teacher. They’ve stepped up to provide an education to our children during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has meant conducting classes virtually and changing how they teach in almost every sense.
