Project Goals for 2025: Grow Our Impact Through More Public Murals and In-Depth Story Sharing

Seaport Mural Festival in NYC

⭐️ This spring we are curating and producing our 4th annual mural festival at the Seaport Pier 18 in downtown Manhattan. The community event will feature 10 artists painting You Are Not Alone Murals in multiple languages and styles.

⭐️ We will continue sharing the personal stories of artists with new video content and interviews from our artists, sharing what the You Are Not Alone Murals message means to them. Showcasing this vulnerability allows viewers to connect with the message more deeply and foster a compassionate community. Someone has to take the first step and be vulnerable. We give our artists the platform to be that brave soul through the videos we share on our YouTube and Instagram.

Stuyvesant High School Mural Project

⭐️ There is a mental health crisis on US high school and college campuses. Students are reporting dramatically higher rates of depression, anxiety, and thoughts of self harm. You Are Not Alone Murals is dedicated to engaging with this vulnerable community and creating murals in their schools as a daily reminder of hope. This year we are hoping to secure funding to install a mural at Stuyvesant High in New York, PS-M475.

Art has the power to heal and grow empathy.

The more this message can be shared and viewed, the more we can reduce the stigma around dealing with mental health challenges and increase the likelihood of someone seeking help.

Your donations will help ensure that artist supplies are covered, ensuring the cost of installation is never a barrier, and that each artist is highlighted on our site and social media and given the opportunity to share their unique story with our community.
