Hello friends and family! I have chosen to become a Y Giving Day Ambassador again this year and help raise money for my second family - the WAVE Swim Team! I have been a part of this team for over ten years and have personally benefitted from and witnessed the impact this organization has on our youth and their families. I have found my best friends through this team and have watched my children connect and establish relationships with other athletes they otherwise would have never known. Beyond the social aspects, I have watched athletes grow physically and challenge themselves athletically. All resulting in the highs and lows of competitive sports. Always there to support them on either end of the spectrum are the coaches. I can not say enough about this team, which is why I wholeheartedly support this Y Giving Day project!
This Y Giving Day Project will help offset operational costs, add to the financial health of the team, fund team supplies, and aid in covering some of the travel expenses for the team. All of which are the backbone to the true work of the team in social, physical and athletic growth and development. Please consider donating to this project.
