California Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities (YLF)
For over 30 years, the California Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities (YLF) has provided youth with a unique leadership development opportunity, preparing them with skill sets and strategies to accelerate their transition to higher education, employment, and independent living. YLF is an annual statewide training event that brings together high school students with disabilities to accelerate their learning, build positive self-identity, practice self-advocacy, and recognize the importance of disability pride, interdependence and civic engagement. YLF alumni serve as the on-site staff, allowing the student delegates access to role models and mentors with disabilities.

This year, our intensive Forum will be held July 13-19, 2023 using a hybrid model via Zoom and at California State University, Sacramento.
