Youth Life Foundation of Richmond works hard and plays hard during our school year tutoring after-school program. In the summers, we continue the work and play through additional tutoring for our highest need students, as well as mentoring and bonding activities and (most excitingly) Mystery Trip!

Mystery Trip takes place in early June and is a full-day field trip to a mystery location for students who have shown good behavior and good attendance throughout the school year. Students work towards this reward all year long- and it's a BLAST. Previous Mystery Trips have been to King's Dominion, Great Wolf Lodge, Busch Gardens, Compass Entertainment Complex, Virginia Beach, and other exciting places!

Mystery Trip costs us about $100 per student, and with around 28 students potentially attending this year, we are looking to raise about $2800 for Mystery Trip alone. We are also raising funds for tutoring and mentoring/bonding activities throughout the summer, so that we can prevent the summer academic slide and maintain relationship with our students during the long break from school.

A donation of $50 covers the cost of a mentoring/bonding outing with a small group of students
