Mission Aviation Academy's Youth Aircraft Factory™ — Build. Learn. Fly.™ — is a hands-on kit-build program where underserved students construct a real, airworthy aircraft from scratch under FAA-supervised instruction. This is the capstone of our 24-month Aerospace, Space & AMT Ladder. Students earn real credentials doing real work. When it's done, it flies.

Two builds. Two entry points. Sponsors help us choose.

We are currently selecting our next aircraft build. Both are all-aluminum STOL kit aircraft manufactured by I.C.P. S.r.l. (Italy) — assembled entirely by our students as E-LSA or E-AB experimental aircraft under the FAA 51% builder rule.

✈ Build Option 1 — ICP Savannah SR (2-Seat STOL)
The entry-level build. A high-wing, side-by-side two-seater ideal for a first build cohort — simpler systems, faster completion, strong training platform.

Component	Cost
Engine — Rotax 912S ~100hp	$25,000
Avionics package	$12,000
Airframe kit + materials + 24-month support	~$63,000
Total program cost	~$100,000

Naming rights available to title sponsor.

✈ Build Option 2 — ICP Ventura 4 (4-Seat STOL)
The advanced build. A four-seat experimental with more complex systems — more build hours, more AMT credential opportunities, more visibility when it flies. Higher investment, higher impact.

Component	Cost
Engine — Rotax 915iS / Lycoming IO-360	$60,000
Avionics package	$12,000–$15,000
Airframe kit + materials + 24-month support	~$75,000–$78,000
Total program cost	~$150,000

Naming rights available to title sponsor.

Every dollar funds:

Aircraft kit components (airframe, engine, prop, avionics, finishing)
Student build instruction (AMT-certified oversight)
Tools, workspace, and safety equipment
FAA airworthiness inspection and first flight

Sponsor a component. Name a system. Title the aircraft.

Level	Amount	What it does
Component Sponsor	$1,000–$9,999	Named on a structural component
Systems Sponsor	$10,000–$24,999	Named on avionics or fuel system
Engine Sponsor	$25,000–$59,999	Named on the powerplant
Co-Title Sponsor	$50,000+	Logo on the aircraft
Title Sponsor — Savannah SR	$100,000	Aircraft naming rights, 2-seat build
Title Sponsor — Ventura 4	$150,000	Aircraft naming rights, 4-seat build
