At We The People United for Change, Inc., we believe creativity can be a powerful tool for confidence, self-expression, personal growth, and opportunity.

Our Youth Empowerment Program provides young people with hands-on experiences in sketching, drawing, storytelling, creative writing, character development, and visual arts while surrounding them with positive mentorship and encouragement.

Young participants don’t simply learn how to draw—they learn how to take an idea from their imagination and develop it into something they can see, share, and be proud of.

Meet the Creative Team

Our program brings together facilitators with real-world creative experience.

Mike Davis introduces young people to sketching and drawing, helping participants develop their artistic skills and learn how ideas can take shape visually.

Keon Smith, creator of the Catboy universe and children’s adventure series, brings storytelling, character development, imagination, and the experience of turning an original creative idea into a published project.

Together, our facilitators help youth see something important:

The picture they draw today could become the character, story, book, business, or opportunity they create tomorrow.

Your Gift Creates Opportunity

Whether you give $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or more, every contribution helps us put materials, instruction, mentorship, and creative opportunities directly into the hands of young people.

Our goal is bigger than completing an art project.

We want young people to leave our program with greater confidence, stronger communication skills, new creative abilities, and the belief that their ideas have value and their voices deserve to be heard.
