Our Vision for Youth

At the Empathy is the Remedy Foundation, our mission is to give joy and inspire positive action every day to uplift people's lives and leave our community better than we found it. We believe that youth are the foundation of our community’s success.

Our youth initiatives are designed to nurture the "seeds" of compassion and service, empowering young leaders to navigate the world through culture, community service, and intentional mentorship. By practicing empathy—truly putting ourselves in the shoes of others—we can create a force powerful enough to enact lasting change.

Featured Program – Hiraya ng Binibini

“Hiraya” (Tagalog): The fruit of one’s hopes, dreams, and imagination.

“Binibini” (Tagalog): A term of respect for a young woman.

Hiraya ng Binibini is our flagship leadership program dedicated to empowering young women. This initiative focuses on the intersection of cultural identity and modern leadership, encouraging participants to realize their deepest aspirations while remaining rooted in empathy and service.

Program Highlights:

Identity & Heritage: Exploring cultural roots to build a confident sense of self.
Leadership Labs: Practical training in public speaking, emotional intelligence, and strategic planning.
Community Impact: Participant-led projects that address local needs and spread joy.
Sisterhood & Mentorship: Connecting with mentors who provide the guidance and wisdom needed to flourish.

Mentorship & Community Service

We provide a space where young people can share their unique gifts—whether through music, athletics, scholarship, arts, culture, or service—to provide comfort and hope to others. From "Operation Replenish" to local volunteer efforts, our youth learn that the greatest impact is made by simply being themselves and serving whenever the opportunity presents itself.
