The Greater North Texas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GNTHCC) Foundation 501 c3 decided to launch a fundraising campaign in 2023 to support young Latinos and Latinas who want to pursue higher education. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of providing funding opportunities to these students and help them achieve their dreams.

As part of the campaign, the GNTHCC announced that the person who raised money would receive 50% of the funds awarded as a scholarship to go to school. The top fundraising individuals would also be crowned as the GNTHCC Annual Rey and Reina, giving them further recognition and visibility in their community.

The GNTHCC's 501 c3 fundraising campaign has significantly impacted the lives of many Latino and Latina men and women in the community. It has shown them they were valued and supported, and their dreams were within reach. It paved the way for a brighter future for all those who want to pursue higher education, regardless of their background or financial situation.
