What happens to autistic youth as they approach adulthood?

In the U.S., 1 in 31 children are diagnosed with autism and millions of autistic young adults are left navigating what comes next. After high school or college, many lose access to federally funded, school-based services. So where do they turn?

This is where AUTURITY steps in. Founded in 2023, AUTURITY is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to closing the gap in services for individuals with autism as they transition into adulthood. Our mission is to “Support the Awesome in Adult Autism” by connecting autistic individuals and their caregivers with the resources, tools, and community they need to build independence and thrive.

AUTURITY provides ongoing virtual support for our community. Because autism impacts the entire family, we also host monthly social gatherings—Autism Unity in the Community—designed to bring families together in a welcoming, empowering environment. These events create meaningful opportunities for connection, celebration, and access to critical resources.
