On Sunday, Lokai Rose received a heartfelt call about three birds in urgent need—Joseph, a sun conure, and Larry and Sunny, two cockatiels. Their owner cared for them deeply and did everything possible to provide for them, but sometimes life brings challenges beyond our control. In times like these, Lokai Rose is here to offer support without judgment, ensuring that every animal receives the care and compassion they deserve🧡

Right now, their future is uncertain. We highly suspect that they have Beak and Feather Disease, a highly contagious and terminal virus, which would be the worst-case scenario. However, there is a chance their symptoms are due to malnutrition. At minimum, they are facing significant health challenges, especially little Sunny, who is missing a foot. While we don’t yet have all the answers, we are committed to giving them the best possible care and making the most informed and compassionate decisions for their well-being.

To help cover their medical expenses and ongoing care, we have launched an online fundraiser. Confirming a diagnosis comes at a significant cost— around $700+ per bird. While this is a challenge, their lives are worth it!

If you’d like to support these birds on their journey to healing, any contribution, whether it be monetary or words of encouragement, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping us give Joseph, Larry, and Sunny a fighting chance!❤️‍🩹
