L'Arche Atlanta is excited to announce its 4th annual Walking Together event, now officially called Walk and Roll Together!

Walk & Roll Together is an annual community fundraising event. This event brings people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) together to foster inclusion, celebration, and mutual support among individuals. Through shared experiences, meaningful connections and joyful interactions, the event promotes understanding, acceptance, and belonging within the community.

For the last four years this fundraising event has had an attendance of over a 100 participants. Admissions is FREE! Everyone who joins us will enjoy a morning of fun that includes a small inclusive vendor marketplace, fun games and prizes, a raffle, and a solidarity walk around the OakHurst neighbor. It’s an event for all ages and abilities!

This year, we are dedicating Walk & Roll funding to purchasing a new wheelchair-accessible. We have a temporary solution that’s helping us get by for now, but it’s not sustainable. It’s time to invest in a reliable, wheelchair-accessible vehicle that truly meets the needs of our community.

At L'Arche Atlanta, we believe the world is made better when all people are included. Dependable transportation isn’t just about getting from one place to another—it’s about belonging, freedom, and full inclusion in community life.

That’s why we’ve set a new goal: $90,000 (yes, these vans cost that much). Every dollar raised through Walk & Roll Together will go directly toward purchasing a new wheelchair-accessible van. Donate today to make a difference!
