National Superhero Day is celebrated on April 28th to honor both fictional icons and real-life heroes. The ZPD and ZAHS created a special superhero patch as part of a fundraiser for ZAHS. Zumbrota Police Officers will proudly wear these patches on their uniforms during April in tribute to Zumbrota native C. C. Beck (1910-1989).

Charles Clarence Beck was a cartoonist and comic book artist, best known for his work on Captain Marvel (Today known as Shazam!) The Zumbrota Area Historical Society is also selling these unique patches for $10 onsite (or $11 if shipped). ALL PROCEEDS go to the Zumbrota Historical Society.
