Yosmar Rodriguez's Story

As a social worker, it is my professional duty to advocate for marginalized and vulnerable populations, including immigrants who often face numerous challenges such as language barriers, discrimination, and limited access to resources. By fundraising for immigrant children and their families, I aim to support them in overcoming these obstacles and improving their overall well-being. As a minority myself, I understand the importance of solidarity and support within marginalized communities. Immigrant families often experience heightened levels of stress and trauma due to factors such as migration, acculturation, and family separation. By fundraising for these families, I hope to provide them with the necessary financial assistance to navigate these challenges and build stronger foundations for themselves in their new environment. Additionally, by fundraising for immigrant children and their families, I seek to raise awareness about the unique struggles they face and advocate for policies that promote their rights and well-being. Immigration policies can have significant impacts on the lives of immigrant families, including access to healthcare, education, and legal protections. By engaging in fundraising activities, I hope to contribute to larger advocacy efforts aimed at creating more supportive environments for immigrant communities.
