More Than a Calendar

What started as a simple fundraising idea quickly became one of Heartland Humane Society's most successful community projects.

🐾 A Calendar People Loved

In its very first year, the HHS Calendar found its way into more than 350 homes, offices, classrooms, and businesses across the region and beyond.

Supporters rated the 2026 calendar:

⭐ 4.7 out of 5 stars on average
⭐ 94% gave it a 4- or 5-star rating
🎁 84% plan to purchase the same number or more calendars in 2027
🎁 Nearly one-third plan to purchase even more than they did this year

Supporters told us their favorite part was simple: the pets.

They loved seeing HHS alumni thriving in their forever homes, celebrating beloved local pets, and learning the stories behind the faces featured throughout the year.

✨ New for 2027: Even More Stories

This year's calendar features beautiful professional photography inspired by The Great Outdoors, showcasing local pets in breathtaking natural settings across the country.

Many featured pets will also include optional online biographies, accessible by QR code or web link, where you can learn about their:

❤️ Adoption story
🐶 Personality & quirks
🎾 Favorite activities
📸 Special memories
🏡 Life with their forever family

Together, the photography and stories make this calendar much more than a fundraiser—they celebrate the incredible bond between pets and the people who love them.
