The Antioch Delta Skimmers are thrilled to invite you to the most exciting "quack-tastic" event of the season during day two of the East County Invitational (ECI). On July 14th, 2025 (day two of the ECI event), we will release up to 2,000 lively rubber ducks into the pool for an unforgettable race around midday!
No need to be present to win, as we will stream the race live on our Instagram page.
A hopeful human will sponsor each rubber duck, eagerly anticipating a chance to win fantastic prizes. As the ducks hit the water simultaneously, they'll race towards the finish line, and the first three to cross will secure prizes for their proud "hopeful human sponsor."
Event Rules:
Every duck launched into the race must have a sponsor.
Duck Sponsorships are available through this online campaign and can also be sponsored in person on deck at ECI at the Antioch Delta Skimmers Team (Find the Duck Sponsorship booth at ECI).
All ducks will start the race at the same time.
Ducks jumping the race barrier line are disqualified.
No human interference is allowed—no hands-on duck assistance!
Ducks will be propelled by wave action only, generated by selected wave makers.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers:
Grand Prize Winner - Fly away with $250
Runner-Up Winner - Swim away with a duck-lightful $100 gift card
Third Place Winner - Get a quacking fun $50 gift card
Fourth and Fifth Place Runner Up ducks - Waddle away with fun buckets filled with swim stuff
Every Participant who purchases a duck at the event gets a duck sponsorship temporary tattoo
