Crossroads Peru (Feb 2026)
Our Team - Erik Scott

Dear Friends and Family,
From February 11th to the 22nd, I will be returning for the 2nd time to Ollantaytambo, Peru, with South Dayton Fellowship to partner with our sister church, Morning Star Church, in worship, prayer, VBS, and outreach in the region.
The 2025 trip was AMAZING, and 2026 looks to be even better!
The 2026 trip will mark the 10th annual trip SDF has made in partnership with Morning Star Church.
What We Will Be Doing
Working alongside our Peruvian brothers and sisters in Christ, we will:
- Help build a community center to be used for weddings, funerals, conferences, community celebrations, and town meetings...
- Teach basic health and hygiene practices to improve long-term well-being among the elderly and infants
- Share the hope of Christ through personal conversations, prayer, teaching, and songs throughout the town
- Be part of two VBS teams that will drive throughout the region, doing two-day VBS programs in local churches.
What I Will Be Doing
I am excited to say, I will be a member of one of the two VBS teams going out into the regions surrounding Ollantaytambo to work with small local churches.
There will be three Americans on each VBS team of 10-12 people.
This is going to really stretch my Spanish skills - in a good way!
As many of you know, my desire is to become a full-time missionary in Ollantaytambo someday. This is one more step towards that goal!!!
How You Can Help
🙏 Pray – This is HARD work! Please pray that God gives us the strength we need to be a blessing and help to all we meet.
Please pray for the safety of our teams as they go out into Ollantaytambo and the surrounding regions.
Please pray that God will give us the wisdom in how to speak words of encouragement to each person we minister to.
✅ Give – The total cost of the trip is $1800 per participant. I know this is a LOT of money, but just 25-30 people contributing $50-100 each will get us to the goal.
📢 Share – Spread the word to others who can help. Just share our link with them: Erik's Page
