Dear Friends and Family,

High in the mountains of Peru, there are villages where children play barefoot in dusty streets, mothers walk miles each day for clean water, and families face challenges that most of us can hardly imagine. Yet, in the midst of this poverty and hardship, there is a deep hunger—not just for food and water, but for hope.

From February 11th to the 22nd, I will be joining South Dayton Fellowship on a return mission trip to Ollantaytambo, Peru. The 2025 trip was AMAZING, and 2026 looks to be even better!

God has given us the opportunity to bring both practical help and the message of His love as we continue building bridges with the Christians of Ollantaytambo and the surrounding villages.

Our mission this year will include:

• Helping locals build a community center that will serve as a safe place for children and families.
• Helping locals deliver food and clean water, we will be packing with us to villagers in desperate need.
• Teaching basic health and hygiene practices to improve long-term well-being.
• Sharing the hope of Christ through personal conversations, prayer, teaching, and songs
• Encouraging local churches to continue the work after we return home.

🙏 Pray – Pray for my Spanish speaking skills! I have been working really hard learning phrases and practicing verb conjugations. I should have paid more attention to my parents (native Spanish speakers) when they encouraged me to "practice your Spanish, Maria...".

Please pray for my strength. Eight hours of construction followed by three hours of street ministry - I will sleep well!

✅ Give – The total cost of the trip is $1800 per participant. If just 24 people give $75 each, that will do the trick!
