I CANNOT believe it’s my 11th season to lacing up my cleats to tackle Alzheimer’s with BvB Dallas! This year my goal is to raise $3,000 towards Alzheimer’s research and care!
I am so excited and honored to be back as the Fundraising Chair for my 7th consecutive season with such a remarkable organization that has done so much! Every year as a BvB participant fighting Alzheimer’s, the whole situation sinks deeper and deeper into my heart. I play for all those who cannot play and fight for themselves, for all those families who have lost their most prized possessions. I play because I want to find a cure, so no one has to feel this pain again. One of the hardest things you will ever have to do, is grieve the loss of a person who is still alive.
Always cherish and love those close to your heart because one day they may no longer be able to remember.
Grandma Jane Tejes, Grandpa Bill Tejes, Nancy Markson, Grammer and Grandpa Winchester, Glenda “Mam-Maw” Juricek, and everyone else…THIS IS WHY I PLAY
