Established in the Hyperpop scene, Camp Boneyard is a multimedia music festival live streamed annually on Twitch, fundraising for nonprofits that lead social change. We've previously supported Rainbow Railroad, Trans Lifeline, Doctors Without Borders, and others.

Camp Boneyard Five: Live in New York marks our 5th anniversary and is a community service initiative to engage LGBTQ+ youth in arts and live music, funded by the CUNY BA Changemakers Grant, with donations going to Callen-Lorde’s Adolescent Health program.

OUR STORY

Camp Boneyard was founded in December 2021 by Finley Nguyen as a virtual music festival live-streamed on Twitch, garnering thousands of viewers across the world. Finley was inspired by similar online events that had sprung out of the pandemic in the Hyperpop scene, such as Subculture Party's Zoom raves, Goop Fest, and Jane Remover's 'Camp Frailty.'

In November 2021, Finley founded underscord, the official Discord server for Hyperpop musician underscores, and home to Camp Boneyard. The community fosters up-and-coming underground creatives.

Camp Boneyard combines visual art and music with a narrative unique to each year to keep audiences engaged. Storytelling, artistry, and the DIY ethos is at the heart of its mission to support LGBTQ+ and diverse youth. The festival is fully volunteer led and raises money for charitable causes selected by the community.
