Join us for the 1^st annual Virtual Choosing Life Walk-A-Thon on October 30^th, 2022 & Walk for Life!

Why: We want to raise funds for women with choosing life stories, while we also provide a platform for women to join us in sharing their own stories as they find healing and seek to reach others with their testimony.

There has been a stigma pushed upon women today that has made it difficult to have the important conversations, where women aren’t able to talk about their babies and their stories. It has become politicized, and abortion has become a normal way of life to be praised by the elites. Leaving the women who have fought for their children’s life to be silenced. But we know that when we choose life we are given life, and life more abundant. And this walkathon is about lifting these women up and providing a platform for them to share their inspiring stories. It is through sharing our stories and fellowship that healing can take place as well as their testimony that helps us all grow.

The funds from this event will first go to the publishing costs of Julia Anne Simpson's Choosing Life book publication with TBN, which will then go to women who have chosen life-whether their baby is with them, in Heaven, placed with another family through adoption, or women who are abortion survivors. The funds will support scholarships for these women to receive one on one coaching or for women wanting to take The Intentionally Authentic Life course, a course designed for the whole woman to rediscover their authentic identity, their gifts and talents, their purpose and their relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is through our coaching and course that we are able to disciple and provide resources to come alongside these women, meeting them where they are as Yeshua would.

It is our greatest desire to have a platform to share their story whether their story took place 100 years ago or yesterday. This is a chance for people to share the moment that they had what we call “a choosing life experience”. They can build a team, raise support, and share their story with the world.

You can share your story by making a short video, sharing a picture and caption, or simply writing it out. Using our website, Givebutter platform, social media, or email, you can share with us your choosing life story in a safe space where you can be yourself. Your stories are our passion that gives Choosing Life, our nonprofit, purpose.

The Cost: The minimum donation for this walk is only $8! You can give more if you feel led, but we want to make this affordable for anyone that wants to share their testimony or walk in support of the inspiring testimonies and to raise funds for women with choosing life stories

Who Can Walk: Everyone! Young and old! Take a quiet walk filled with prayer and reflection, throw a party and invite all of your friends and family or just take a selfie in your favorite place or wherever you are. You can walk 5 feet or 5 miles. You pick the distance and the pace! Share pictures with us so that we can feel like we are right there with you. This is your platform to share the legacy of your story.

Prizes and Fun: There is the option to purchase Choosing Life T-shirts, and even customizing it with your team name or the name of a loved on in memory. There will be prizes and awards! Each woman that shares her story of choosing life will be entered in a drawing to win full access to the The Journey to Self Discovery course, FREE coaching sessions, journals, and a signed copy of Julia’s Choosing Life book soon to be published with TBN, a memoir about her journey with choosing to give her first daughter, who was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a chance of life when doctors told her to kill her baby and how God continues to be faithful throughout. In addition to the drawing, awards will be given for the furthest away, most funds raised, best selfie, and most steps walked! For those that show us how they’re coming together and walking, there will be an award for the most inspiring walk.
