I have witnessed generations of EVkids on their road to success since starting as a volunteer with the organization in 1980. Many of them have become lifelong friends. My parents founded the organization and enlisted my brother and me in a family project that has now become a community-based organization. I now have the privilege of being the current Executive Director. 

EVkids connects youth in Dorchester and Roxbury with university student volunteers for 1-on-1 academic mentoring. Graduates also are mentored through College. In the summer, low-income city kids experience community living in the Green Mountains of Vermont at EVkids Camp.
