Story

For 25 years, the Annual Luncheon has celebrated the great work of our community partners helping young women and girls in Fairfield County imagine new dreams and realize their potential.

On this silver anniversary, join us in our commitment to ensuring the Fund for Women & Girls can continue to invest in sustainable solutions to both meet the immediate needs of many and address the systemic changes required so that everyone has an equitable opportunity to thrive – regardless of race, zip code or gender.

We are pleased that this year’s luncheon will accommodate an even larger group of passionate supporters than last year, while still offering a live stream option for those unable to join us in Greenwich – all in compliance with CDC and local protocols regarding COVID-19. Once again, we will be inspired by the Fund’s beneficiaries and moved by a trailblazing speaker, Misty Copeland, the first Black woman to be promoted to Principal Dancer with the American Ballet Theater, as well as an author, activist, and philanthropist.

As always, proceeds from the Annual Luncheon benefit Fairfield County’s Community Foundation’s Fund for Women & Girls, including the newest signature program, the emme coalition, which works at the intersection of physical wellness, behavioral health, and case management to connect women and girls with lifelong tools for wellbeing that can be passed along to future generations.
