Following the great success of the first online symposium sponsored by the Nathaniel Foundation and Root Source towards Passover 2021, we are excited to announce a 2023 online symposium, in honor of Hanukkah 2023.
Story
The symposium will be held live on Sunday, December 10, 2023, 10 AM - 1 PM Central time, 6 PM - 9 PM Israel time.
Christians and Jews alike often think of Hanukkah as a Jewish holiday. But it has significance for Christians as well. In fact, the only person recorded in the Bible as observing the feast of Hanukkah is Jesus in the New Testament (John 10:22).
In this symposium, Jewish and Christian scholars will present short perspectives on this often misunderstood holiday.
