Renee Goff's Story

Hello to my friends and family! I want to give everyone a short update on my health so you know why I'm asking for help. I was diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular disease when I was in my 20s. It was dormat till late 2017. In 2017, I found out that I was in heart failure, and in my recovery, VCP roared it ugly head. So I have 2 different gene mutations. VCP has changed everything that I do. I can't walk without help. Long distances I use a motorized scooter. Things that are easy for you are a challenge for me like taking a shower, Getting dressed, doing housekeeping, and just getting out of the house to go visit. So Chet, Courtney, Dylan and myself are going to do a family walk to raise money. We are going to do the I CAN MOVEment fundraiser for curevcp. Please help us reach our goal.
