Family, friends and colleagues- please join me in supporting LOLLIPOP THEATER NETWORK!
Throughout the year, and especially during the holiday season, Lollipop works tirelessly to bring joy, magic and momentary escape to hospitalized children and their families through current movies and entertainment!
In addition to the hundreds of interactive zoom programs with incredible celebrity special guests and experts reaching thousands of patients across the country, Lollipop has also been thrilled to physically get back into hospitals bringing movies like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trolls and Shazam to pediatric patients at the same time their friends are able to go see at a theater.
I personally witnessed the amazing ability of a movie to provide comfort to a child who’s alone and needs some company, or how it can make a family feel a bit more at home all together in a hospital room.
Secure iPads are used screen the movies in group settings and bedside for isolated patients. The more iPads Lollipop has the more in-person patients can be reached with each studio film visit!
I’ve made it my goal to raise funds for additional iPads and equipment that goes along with it for patients to have the best viewing experience and chance for momentary escape of their current reality.
Any amount helps, it all adds up!
