Story

The Latiné Musical Theatre Lab

Our work starts with our flagship programs: our 4xLatiné presentations (excerpts of new musicals for a live audience), our Table Reading Series (developing scripts with the support of actors and dramaturgs), and our Julia de Burgos Cohort (small group, three month writing intensives.)

In addition, we provide free educational workshops and seminars that bring knowledge and resources into our community; assist and advise on individual musicals to elevate and support the work; and build connections and partnerships with theatres and producers around the country in order to break down barriers erected by gatekeepers - and ultimately get writers’ work produced.
