Over the Edge for ALICE 2026

I never imagined I’d willingly step over the edge of a 14-story building.  The idea alone makes my heart race a little faster. But sometimes, the things that challenge us the most are the very things that matter most...and that’s exactly why I’m choosing to Go Over the Edge on May 8th! I’m doing this to raise awareness and critical funds for individuals who face challenges far greater than a fear of heights. Every day, people in our community are navigating homelessness, addiction, and instability—fighting battles that require strength, courage, and resilience just to get through the day. Compared to that, my few minutes on the side of a building feel small...but meaningful. This rappel is more than just an adrenaline rush. It’s a visible, tangible way to say: I’m willing to step outside my comfort zone if it helps make a difference in someone else’s life. As I stand at the top, looking down, I’ll be thinking about the people this effort supports...people working to rebuild their lives, find stability, and regain hope. If they can face their challenges head-on, then I can take this step too. Your support helps turn this moment into something bigger. Every donation, every share, every word of encouragement brings us closer to creating real change. So yes—I’m a little nervous. But I’m even more determined. Because some things are worth the leap.
