Natalie Condon's Story
My father was born and raised in Lviv until Stalin brought his war to the city. Just before Christmas in 1943, my father's father was abducted by 10 NKVD Russian agents, imprisoned and assassinated. Shortly thereafter, my father, his mother and brother fled to a displaced persons' camp in Austria. It is heartbreaking to watch history repeat itself. This time, however, it is inspiring to watch the Ukrainian people and their government fight for their freedom. I hope you will join me in doing what we can from afar to support Ukraine.
