Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, I immigrated to the US with my family in 1990 and today, I am a climate change scientist living in Colorado. But I am also an activist (founder of 500 Women Scientists), filmmaker, mom, and out of shape athlete. But first and foremost, I am Ukrainian.
